HISTORY
Primarily self taught, and having lived in rural Manitoba for most of her life, Ora Maryniuk's inspiration is drawn from the natural beauty of the Manitoba landscape, with its seasonal change of color and mood. As well, her garden, flower beds, native wild flowers and still life subjects are a favorite resource for her art.  Painting mainly with oils, she also works with pencil, pen and ink, and on occasion, pastel or watercolor, with the subject suggesting the choice of media.
