Mary grew up in the Pembina Valley area drawing and sketching the world around her as a small child.

A self taught artist and art teacher who sites the Group of Seven as inspiration for furthering her artistic practice. Her work has won awards for advancement and recognition and has been exhibited in art shows in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Mary states that "My love of art and creating is a very strong passion and need in my life."" One of the desires of my heart is to help people to discover their own individual creativity through the arts"
