The Objective of CARFAC Manitoba is to develop, protect, and promote the social and economic interests of practicing visual artists in Manitoba by providing information and services to artists and the general public.

It is due to the efforts and societal strides made by CARFAC Manitoba thirty years ago that visual artist are today paid artist fees for the exhibition of their work in publicly funded galleries. CARFAC Manitoba spearheaded the inclusion of Copyright Issues into law; today artists enjoy the status and protection that is associated with these Copyright Laws. In essence, CARFAC Manitoba legitimized the work of visual artists across Canada then and, still now, work for the betterment of their economic and social status. Hence, we must continue to support CARFAC Manitoba thereby ensuring that it can continue to support the visual artists of today.

Membership Fee Categories

Professional Artist Member (individual): $55 per year
Professional Artists Members (couple): $90 per year
Associate member (individual): $35 per year
Associate members (couple): $60 per year
Associate Organization or Institution: $70 per year

New members can contact CARFAC Manitoba for pro-rated fees throughout the year. Our year-end is September 30.
